Times have been absolutely mad these past months. I have recently tried to relocate to Granada Spain, I ‘bought’ a Cave with my partner and were supposed to move The UnifiedField experimental art space from Yogyakarta Indonesia to here. But on the third day after our arrival, the bureaucrats from the city hall came by with the cops to issue out eviction letters to many of the folks living in this cave covered district of San Miguel Alto. We’re a week away from the official release of the next One Man Nation disc, this will be a Vinyl-only release followed in a few months by the digital release. The first pressing of this double A side disc is limited to 303 hand-numbered transparent vinyl copies released on Austrian label Moozak.
The approach to this piece of work has been an ongoing sonic investigation – fusing influences from the oriental to the occidental to the outer limits and beyond – into the creation of psychological states of suspension through the act of listening to a piece of music. The result is a mystical non-linear journey which takes the listener (for a moment or more) to different mental states before drawing them back into the unreality of reality.

And lastly, I have been invited to give a presentation about my artistic works as One Man Nation, running the UnifiedField and The Future Sounds Of Folk (in collaboration with Steim) at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. This will happen on the 21st October 2010.
